Am vergangenen Wochenende machte ich mich auf die weite Reise nach Bautzen zum Auftakt des Mitteldeutschland-Cups. This saturday was an international Eliminator-race, a sprintrace, at the sunshine-cup in Nals ( ITA ).   The best MTB-sprinter was arrived.   In the final heat finished Lukas at the second place, the winner was Daniel Federspiel ( AUT) and the 3rd was the Worldchampion U23 , Thomas Litscher ( SUI ).   A… lies weiter »

….in Aarhus. That was a race in the UCI-C2 category and important in the nations-ranking for the olympic games 2012!   Annika had a fine start to finish victory and won with more than 6:30 minutes infront of the second rider.   All UCI-points in the womenrace gone to the danish riders, very good for the nations-ranking.    

Annika Langvad finished the first and very early Worldcup XCO in Southafrika on the 18th place,  a big fight and a hard day!   Lukas Kaufmann had a flat tire at place 40 in the secound round and lost more than 35 places, because the speed was very high in this section of the race. Das offizielle Training bestätigt den hohen Anspruch dieser Strecke bei sehr hohen Temperaturen und Luftfeuchtigkeit. Etliche Athleten sind gestürzt, teilweise mussten sie den Start absagen, unsere Athleten sind wohl auf, Sascha Bleher ist auch gestürzt doch es wird gehen, seine Hand macht etwas Probleme!….Ansonsten alles im grünen Bereich…..:-) Foto: Rockgarden WC Pietermaritzburg…

…that was a hard day for Annika, but succesfull!   A 3rd place in the last stage, a XCO-race, was perfect for the win of the yellow jersy.   2nd Sabine Spitz 3rd Tereza Hurikova ( she won the last stage )   She earns 160 UCI-points for her victory…., more infos will follow.

Annika Langvad finished in 3rd! 1st Stage Afxentia ( SHC ), Sunshine Cup. The winner and leader is Tereza Hurikova.   Tatjana Dold is listed on the 28th place of 50 riders!   Tomorow will be the Stage to Stage-Race, the 2nd stage of the Afxentia and with app. 40 km real tough and long!
